I fell in love with creating at a very young age. Before I was out of elementary school, I was winning art competitions.

When I reached high school, I knew that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. Imagine my frustration when I realized that most people only make money from their art after their death. I really didn't want to wait that long!

I decided to go into commercial art; specifically graphic design. I found that I had a natural affinity for helping people make the images in their heads come to life.

In college, I started working with computer graphic applications. Oh, the wonderous worlds that opened for me! After my first child was born, I spent several years teaching other people how to use the graphic applications for the computer.

I find that when I am bored, I go to the computer to "play". I often stumble across interesting effects when I am just playing with different files.
